How do I setup my email in Eudora?

This tutorial shows you how to set up Eudora to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Eudora 7.1, but these settings are similar in other versions of Eudora. You can set up previous versions of Eudora by using the settings in this tutorial.

To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Eudora

1. Click on Tools Options

    2. Click "Getting Started"   
    3. Enter the following

Real Name
your first and last name

Email Address
your Calinet email address (ex: johnsmith@calinet.com)

Mail Server (Incoming)
enter mail.calinet.com (Hosting Customers use mail.yourdomain.com where "yourdomain.com" is your domain name)

User Name
your Calinet email address (ex: johnsmith@calinet.com)
 
SMTP Server (Outgoing)
enter mail.calinet.com (Hosting Customers use mail.yourdomain.com where "yourdomain.com" is your domain name)

Check "Allow authentication"



    4. Click OK

You are now ready to send and recieve email.
